    I'd like to know what the likely need to fix it is first. He also flooded my downstairs neighbour while replacing my boiler and we got into a bit of a dispute over the whole thing.     crossing cable routes

    Is is acceptable to run a cable (for a spur) vertically to reach a new socket, if it crosses over a ring main (which runs horizontally)? Both would be channelled into a wall. Thanks
