Zanussi/Electrolux fridge freezer - fridge not working

The fridge on my Zanussi fridge freezer does not seem to be cooling. The freezer works fine. It was suggested that the fan sending cold air up to the fridge was frosted up. I defrosted it for 24 hours (and discovered the water comes through the feet, which surprised me and my floor) and started it again. This did the trick for about two weeks, when it happened AGAIN.

I am tired of having to constantly defrost my freezer and throw away my food. Could there be an explanation as to why it happened so soon again, or could it be something else?

The model is ZEBF 249W
