Is my neighbour's garden room breaking regs

You mean a response which is relevant to the question I asked. Whether it is an eyesore or not is moot - I asked if it's breaking regs.

Is my neighbour's garden room breaking regs

Finally, a sensible response! I'm wondering if the pergola and garden room are seen as seperate structures though. If so, it might be permissable as you are allowed 4 metres with a dual-pitched roof, it seems.

Is my neighbour's garden room breaking regs

Yep, closed on 3 sides that's why workman said it doesn't need planning permission which seems questionable

Is my neighbour's garden room breaking regs

If it is major bit of construction, yes, it is expected. Glad you are not my neighbour, but cheers for the helpful reply

Is my neighbour's garden room breaking regs

Woke up to this eyesore being built close to my boundary. From checking planning regs, it seems to say that structures should not be built on a platform, whereas this is, and if within 2 metres of the boundary, should not be higher than 2.5 meters. Not measure yet but to my eye it does look...

Attach speaker to bottom of TV

That's not a bad option as it could clamp onto the exisiting TV bracket. Cheers will look into it . AVR is going on a corner shelf behind TV so all will be hidden.

Attach speaker to bottom of TV

Hi, I have my TV in a corner suspended from a bracket with L/R speakers on stands on either side. I can't put the centre speaker on the wall as it is too far back from the front of the TV. I was wondering if there was some way to attach a small satellite speaker (Cambridge Minx Min 22) to the...

    Corner shelf for AVR

Hi , I wanted to add a shelf to a corner of the room to put my audio video receiver on , hidden behind the TV. The AVR is about 10kg. The shelf doesn't need to be pretty as it will be behind the TV, my question is more about the best way to support the weight of a triangular shelf + avr...

    Roof lantern blinds

Hi, I have a roof lantern, 1700mmx2900mm and am trying to source some blackout blinds, ideally electric ones without a wire. There are a few options online but the prices are sky high, excuse the pun. Does anyone have any experience in building or sourcing reasonably priced self-fit blinds? Cheers
