I think it really all depends on how often you are going to use it. Bosch in my opinion are the best. I have not heard anything bad about the make. If you are not going to use it on sites then I would always go for a corded drill. Remember to always use decent Drill bits this also helps...

I totally agree with you Keith. I followed the instructions on the bag as well and have ended up with the same problem as yourself. I would love to of used an auger but considering that I only had five holes I wasn't prepared to hire one.

I have the same problem with my fence posts. I would love to get them repaired. You will probably think that i'm daft, but i am struggling to understand how you would repair the posts in this way. Is there any chance of a picture or diagram?

Jewson sell the Durofix li-ion for 117.49 inc VAT. I don't know if that is a good price or not. At least it lets you know that they stock them.
