Hi I am about to replace axial manual pull cord with a non timer Xpelair CF 20,which i want to come on and off with the light switch.The wire from the isolater to the fan is only 2 core,does this need to be 3 core or is that only for timer fans?

Cheers Seemed too good to be true!Only thing is apparently just discovered the pull cord only boosts the humidity speed,so how do you switch it on given that it ain`t wired to the light switch?I guess i need to wire it to the light switch.How do i do that?
