Have an electric shower that is only hot when turned fully up.Is there a fault with one of the elements?Thanks

Does it have 2 discrete settings, e.g. High/Low, Winter/Summer etc., or just one knob?

How powerful is it?

Hi Thanks for reply.It only has one dial,is 10.5KW.It has never been right since fitting

Is this your first winter with it?

What sort of showers have you experienced before?

Suggest you go and look up the specific heat of water, do a temperature test of the incoming cold and the outgoing hot, a flow test at the shower head, and see if everything ties up for a 10.5kW shower.

If it does then the problem is with your expectations.

If it does not then there is a fault with the shower.

It shouldn't take more than an hour or so, including learning about the physics of heating water.
