My Mira Sprint electric shower is playing up. I first had problems with the pull cord for the shower jammed and I could not turn the power off to the shower. Therefore I had to switch off the mcb to the shower on my fuse panel. Then the shower started to malfunction. When I push the ON button on the shower unit the power and flow lights flicker. Water still comes out of the shower head but when I turn the heat control dial to the red area to heat the water the water out the shower head starts to pulse out. In turn the water just stays cold and does not heat up.
I thought the this fault was caused by the jammed switch.I changed the switch but the fault with the shower unit remains.
Any ideas has the heating element gone or the circuit board in the unit.
Any suggestions much appreciated...
