Problem with a friend's washing machine. any help appreciated. The machine is not showing any lights and does not lock the door etc when closed. Have only checked the fuse in the plug so far and that's okay. Any pointers beyond this welcomed.

Hi, kitchen sink mixer tap has developed a leak from where the spout goes into the body. Managed to remove the spout expecting to find a knackered o ring but the perisher is actually more a square or possibly D secton seal. Anyone know where I might get my mitts on one? Many thanks in advance.
