turn boiler off and look for a drain cock on a rediator or low point on the boier flow and return pipe and open it till the gauge reads around 1 bar. if the filling loop is passing or the expansion vessel stuffed the pressure will rise when you turn the boiler back on.

Seems a lot if it's just the pressure switch, tubes or pitot; If it's the pcb then it's close to being a good deal but a good independant would fix it without a problem and it wont cost so much. The choise has to be yours. John

It needs to have the air pressure switch, tubes and pitot connections tested before looking at the pcb, like Agile says its likely to be something simple. John

Make sure you put some rag or something down the soil pipe to catch any bits of rubble when you cut the collar off. :D

I had a similar problem with a customers csi 85 in Cardiff the other week, changed the ch thermistor and all seems ok. I would test its resistance first. John :wink:
