is it essential? or another corgi money making scam?

Can't see it changing for a while.
If you do work where FGA is needed, you need CPA1.

Just another way to make us pay to earn a living! Cant fault it
Or, as someone put it to me recently, another post in the ring fence which separates us from illegal workers, for a mere few quid a week!

Them illegal workers won't half be worried now. :)
 
I've vaguely heard of it but won't be taking it...what will they do, shadow me on every job to make sure I don't open my telegan bag??

it was like all the elements, so easy to complete it was obscene.

honestly it would be as much of an achievement if you just popped to the training center and gave them the readies without actually doing anything.

I just wish you came away from these "competency" proving exams with some sense of achievement or at least the feeling you learnt something.
