Kitchen extractor fan: Repairing a bad(?) installation job

hi, just wondering. Doesnt it matter that the false ceiling has 3 vents that go outside in the balcony? I mean the air will eventually escape right? I am only insisting since I have no idea how (or even if its possible) to stuff a 6 metre long flexi pipe inside there and make sure it comes...

Kitchen extractor fan: Repairing a bad(?) installation job

hi a followup post also. What about a compination of the two? A flexible ducting towards the false ceiling and an inline fan attached to the ceiling and ducting. See the (highly professional  ) drawing. Is that even possible/practical? Will such a connection work? I am not...

    What is that thing?

hi, ok maybe it wasnt clear from the photo, but this insert doesnt have a bottom so its not a cap (see new photo) it didnt have a rubber ring and its only purpose is to make a watertight seal between the waste pipe (40mm) and the trap outlet. without this insert there is water...

    What is that thing?

Hi everyone. Ok I need some help identifying this waste pipe insert (see attached photos). Basically, it goes inside the 40 mm waste pipe (see photo) so it is possible to fit a trap outlet locking ring. Without that insert, the joint is not water proof and it leaks. I need to find a...
