    Zanussi zhq575 oven element going?

Zipper, help! I got the spare part and have taken the old grill out but have encountered a problem. The old grill had an extra wire (green) attached to the dead centre push on spade connector, where as the new part doesn't have a home for it. I thought maybe I had bought the wrong...

You are a star, thank you! (P.S. It's just the top oven that is dying)

    Zanussi zhq575 oven element going?

Thanks Zipper. Does the oven element have two circuits also as that may explain the problem there also?

    Zanussi zhq575 oven element going?

I've still not worked out what is going on. The oven heats ridiculously slow and now the wife thinks the grill is heating slower too. I had a look at the grill and it does look a bit odd, like it is warped, as you can see from the pic below. I noticed that it also only gets orange hot within the...

    Zanussi zhq575 oven element going?

    Zanussi zhq575 oven element going?

I have a Zanussi zhq575 oven which tripped the fuse board a few weeks ago while in use - I can't remember if it was during the use of the grill or the top oven. Since then the top oven takes an age to heat up, with or without the fan which still seems to be working ok. Is it all or nothing with...

    Warped front door

The boiler issue is being discussed here. I need to upload some pictures though. The pipe just drips on to the porch roof, then dribbles down into a puddle outside the front door. I have turned the pump speed down and I think that has reduced the dripping a bit...

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

I have been up in the loft and there isn't. The pipe that leads from the top of the cylinder (you can just make it out at the top right) is the one that is the overflow, I'm sure of it. Have to log off for a while. Thanks again.

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

No. There is something that looks like one to the right of the three-way valve, but it is silver. The red valve is fully closed too.

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

Boiler is a Potterton Prima one but that is on the opposite side of the house. 99.9% sure it is as the dripping and visible steam is only when the heating is on. Also it was checked when I called a plumber out on a previous job that was a problem with the circulating pump.

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

Will try and check the valve. Pretty certain there is no other tank - if there is, it's well hidden! Just to clarify, the dripping is only happening when the heating is on. It's not a continous thing. Thanks for your help so far.

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

Not sure. Cable goes from cylinder stat into the box and then cable back out that goes into a Honeywell box, I think a power box, which then feeds into the timer.

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

Yes there is. A Grundfos circulating pump.

    Leaking CH overflow pipe

Thanks. It's a gravity-fed system (think that is right term). It's really difficult to check the valve as there is not much room between the ceiling and the top of the cylinder. The stat is set to 55C.
