    Id be checking thermistors first, not sure why the diverter valve would make the burner heat up for 15-30 seconds?

    depends on how much you wanna pay really?if your system can cope with pumping the underfloor and not starve the rest of your system, underfloor can be pricey! i personally would stick a rad in there but its personal choice

    my educated guess would be the pipes arnt clipped propperly/at all or u have a loose washer somewere could be anywere... has this been happening forever? is it from every tap eg kitchen and bathroom?

    its likely you will need a new pressure relief valve if water is coming out of there, there relatively inexpensive and not difficult to change in most cases.

    first thing i would check is the pressure relief pipe which will be outside the house probably at back of boiler is it dripping from there?

    can anyone recommend a boiler for a single pipe system?

    i realise it should really be updated but the customer will not be told and there paying at the end of the day i have fully explained but sticking to there guns... if anyone could recommend a system boiler for this installation if youve fitted one before or wat have ya woud be great cheers!

    i have the same problem, a customer has just moved to a new house,diverter valve was leaking had to be changed which was fine water reaching temperature at boiler but gets cold and stays luke warm at bathrooms? not been back over crimbo as they are fine for now but sounds to me like too...

    if the old washing machine stand pipe has a seal of water in it it dosent need a cap on it so take it off :wink:

    possible gas valve sticking, injectors oversized, gas rate could be too high, or the pilot assembly out of position. :wink:
