    Freezing Shower

I'm installing a Triton Amber III electric shower in my summer chalet. It will be unoccupied from the end of September to Good Friday (council rulls1) It's on an outside wall. The wall consists of a 2x2 frame with shiplap on the outside and 6mm ply on the inside. I will fit 2" Kingspan in...

Yes fig2 should work. Fig1 is recommended as many lofts do not have a 13a socket fitted.

Where/how to plug in my portable hot tub?

I had fitted a water-proof RCD socket and removed the RCD plug from the tub's lead. I found loose connections in the RCD plug when removing it!

Which box to use with 25mm SWA glands?

Thanks for the suggestions so far. The boxes I have have 2 20mm KOs per side and I would like the 25mm hole in the centre of the side. This would mean cutting into 2 20mm KOs. Would the hole cutters work in such a situation? Thinking about it, I think BAS's suggestion of using conduit is...

Which box to use with 25mm SWA glands?

I wish to terminate SWA cable into a plastic CU and switch fuse. I'm using BW-25 glands which require a 25mm dia mounting hole. I have some adaptable boxes but they only have 20mm knock-outs. Are there bigger metal boxes available? Cannot see any at TLC.

Best s/w for drawing floor plans?

Which is the best software for drawing floor plans? I've tried using Google SketchUp but find it difficult to use. SmartDraw is easier to use but is very expensive for the few times I'm going to use it.

    Is there room?

Leg room whilst sitting is not the problem. Sitting down and standing up is the problem. I've reposted this to the Plumbing forum.

I can pee from nearer the side. It's the sitting down and standing up that's the problem.

Thanks! I'll move the basin nearer the shower to see if I can get nearer that figure. I think about 300mm is the max I can get :(

I'm adding a shower to my 'bathroom' in my summer chalet and I wonder what space should be left in front of my wc. This is a rough plan to show the layout.

    Is there room?

That's a big job. The cupboard houses the water heater and moving the soil pipe is not a job I would consider doing. The legs are under the basin so have plenty of room.
