    'Child', 'Refugee' Terrorists

Hmm. Now John's talking to himself. No change there. As for coming back with a different name, it's the one I've had for almost ten years. So, am I to conclude that the LWRs on here are OK with hating their fellow countrymen (especially those from Surrey) and despising anyone who tries to...

    'Child', 'Refugee' Terrorists

Is that it? So you agree with letting in thousands of unknowns under false pretences, many with murderous intent? You must really be full of hate for your fellow Brits.

    'Child', 'Refugee' Terrorists

Couple of weeks ago, we had poor oppressed Moroccan 'refugees' welcomed in by Merkel, who were so grateful to the Spanish people that offered them refuge that they killed 13 of them with a van. 100 people were also injured. Let's ignore the fact that Morocco is deemed a safe country that is not...

    The Hungarian government

The Czech Republic has also refused these economic migrants. Only a small percentage can be classed as genuine refugees. Genuine refugees normally include women, children and old people - not mostly young men. Haven't been any terror attacks in Hungary, Poland or Czech Rep. yet. Hmm. Wonder why.

    The Hungarian government

Small price to pay for retaining your security, safety, cultural identity and putting the people of Hungary first. Shame our traitorous politicians don't do the same.

    Last Night at The Proms

It's the remoaners fear of regaining our independence and sovereignty, and their discrimination against non EU countries who want to trade with us. Again.

    Copper or Hep2o joints?

I have soldered copper joints all over my house from when it was built 60 years ago. None have ever leaked. How could anyone compare these type of joints to push-fit plastic?

Do you mean our Empire, or the current German Empire that we have just voted to leave?

    Pump position, is this mad?

I'm no expert, but one reason for having a separate cold connection from loft tank to pump is safety. At the moment, if the loft tank emptied for some reason (jammed ballcock, etc), the hot from the cylinder would continue being pumped for a while after the cold has stopped. Could lead to...

Vaillant Turbomax Plus - Intermittent F28 Lock Out

Thanks again. Will try the switch first. As for Bath, that was in 2008 when I first joined DIYnot. Have moved to Devon since, but forgot to change my location as I don't come on here too often. Traffic and parking in Bath was driving me nuts.

Vaillant Turbomax Plus - Intermittent F28 Lock Out

Thanks for your reply. That would make sense. Looking at the manual, the pressure switch seems to be in series with the gas valve, so if it was faulty, I suppose the boiler could take that as a failure to light due to gas valve, hence F28. As we had a problem with corrosion in the water that...

Vaillant Turbomax Plus - Intermittent F28 Lock Out

Having an annoying intermittent fault on my 2004 Turbomax Plus 824e. It's started locking out with F28 code on average once a day. Some days it doesn't do it, but most days it just does it once. Usually after it's been used for hot water first thing in the morning. I re-set it, then it's OK for...

    Truck Trains

Hogwash. What passes as 'the left wing' in recent times, ie. Labour, flooded the country with millions of EU workers when they allowed uncontrolled immigration. They had to introduce the minimum wage to appease the unions and to stop the pay rates hitting the floor. Since when has royally...

    Should I Be Worried?

Funny you should say that. Had it serviced last year, and the engineer called me over to the boiler. He showed me the leaking burner door seal. You could feel the hot gases on your hand, near the bottom of the door. Luckily, as the leak wasn't massive, and it was at the bottom, it wasn't blowing...

    Should I Be Worried?

I have a Glow Worm 30cxi combi. It's not the reason I'm worried, but maybe I should be. The thing that I find worrying is, every time I re-pressurise it, a couple of drops of water drop from inside the boiler as I turn the blue knob off. Should I be worried?
