Although it must be hard for some of the savers who rely on the interest to supplement their income, we borrowers have had it bad for such a long time with no help its been desperate at times so for the first time its nice the shoes on the other foot and being better off for a change, swings and roundabouts, the longer this "recession" goes on the better i say :D

Do you have any family members whose job might be at risk?

Or friends?

Or customers?

Personally, although my repayments on debts have reduced, I'd gladly return to paying the same as I was three months ago if it meant that there was no recession. I'm just selfish like that.

I was speaking figuratively if thats the word :D I put the word recession in "" to play down the meaning and just pick up on the good bit that i'm enjoying at this moment after such a long time of making ends meet if you like.
Of course I wouldnt and dont like seeing anyone out of work and hope that things improve in that respect, hopefully as people get confident in wanting to spend again things will improve but rates will go up again i'm sure :(

Could be the Govn has it wrong !
If they showed willing to properly protect those falling out of work due to the 'crunch' - not easy, many things are not - perhaps there would be a better chance of those in work becoming confident enough to spend their money - If spending is ultimately the answer ???
Banks do not seem to be self starting even with the Govn 'promise to pay' backing them.

Current anthem ?
