1 fan 2 rooms... what size fan if possible?

I'm in the process of building an extension which has a kitchen and utility. I've put a roof tile vent in roof as i can't go through walls (long story). Been reading i can put one fan in to draw the air from the two rooms. Is this true
if it is what size fan would i need
the utility is 1.5m x 3m and kitchen duct with be ducted into the cooker hood.

So, you already have a hob extract? But you don't have any openable windows?

To pass my plans i have to have an extractor in kitchen I.e. hob. And one in utility. I can't just open a window.
