10/15 mm internal reducer

Are these good for using in rad valves for 10mm copper. Have had trouble with the two piece ones before. The ones without an olive

I don't like either type of compression reducers and prefer to solder a fitting reducer to copper pipe.
 
Do you mean solder that on to the 10mm then use the 15mm olive that comes with the rad. valve.

Yes ,solder a FITTING reducer onto the 10mm. Your linked fitting may be just a reducing coupler ??

The fitting is a long tail 15/10mm reducer. Is that not what you meant?
 
I can't tell for certain from your pic. If it is a coupler that joins 10 mm to 15mm pipe to pipe.
Can you provide more info on the supplier ?
 
Don't need a long tail reducer - If you are going to DIY solder then maybe try a standard 10mm solder ring reducer -

I've never had an issue with the 3 part ones. Just need to remember to put a smear of jointing paste on all the sealing surfaces

Is soldering this on then a 15mm Olive a better way than the internal reducers? I can solder ok.
