Hi. I need to replace my 100mm inline extractor fan. It's a simple swap out job and I'm looking for replacement recommendations. I don't want to spend more than £100, but want the most powerful one available.

The one I have might be the most powerful, in which case I'll buy the same one. I just want recommendations from actual users. The hose run is about 5m and the shower room has no window, so the extractor needs to be up to the job.

The Envirovent SILMV160/100T is currently available at quite a low price. It has the ball-bearing motor mounted on rubber blocks to minimise noise and vibration. It has an extract rate up to 180 cu.m/hr. I have found the Soler & Palau/Envirovent fans to be very good. They make more powerful ones at a higher price, e.g. the 250, which would be better as you have a long duct.

What is the extraction rate of your current one?
