Hi
Want to tile floors downstairs using natural slate tiles over a concrete subfloor. Haven't got the money for u/f heating though, so a little worried floor is going to be very cold in winter.
Rooms will have internal wall insulation + good level of loft insulation upstairs, double glaze windows. Central heating is via stsndsta panel radiators sufficient for room size.
Will laying the tiles on 10mm insulated tile backer boards (suchs as ProWarm or Marmix) prevent them becoming cold?
Thanks
