Need to connect 125mm cooker hood spigot to a rigid 125mm connector about 500mm above it, I’d have thought the obvious choice was some 125mm flexi duct, as they don’t line up exactly, but can only find 100mm or 150mm in the usual outlets, am I missing something or do I just need to look harder? (As in search better, not appear more threatening)

You can get semi rigid metallic duct in that size, it's a lot better for air flow than the full Flexi.
