Hello,
I keep changing my mind on getting a new cooker cable installed for my new cooker. Its fully electric range type and 11.9kw. The old cooker is a lot smaller.
The cable at the moment is 6mm, is is routed through joists and conduit from the CU then clipped to the wall in the kitchen to the cooker (radial).
The distance is abut 12 metres in total.
The kitchen is due to be re plastered and I keep reading conflicting advice on wether to upgrade.
My gut feeling is to go for 10mm to be on the safe side but Its obviously going to be hassle in the kitchen with part p and all and at the end of the day I want it to be right.
Shall I look into getting it changed?? Opinions?
Thanks
