12kw electric ccoker

It appears that the current cable is 'ok' to use for your appliance, using diversity, however, I would take the opportunity to 'run' another cable 10mm.
You have mentioned that the existing cable is 'clipped to the wall' in the kitchen, wouldn't you prefer a 'neater' job, and peace of mind X-mas morning when the cooker is flat out   ?
Ed - you do realise that you're getting it wrong, and that you should stop giving bad advice that costs people money they don't need to spend?

Given what you have said:-

is it necessary to change the cable?
-No

Might it be a good idea to change the cable now while the opportunity exists?
-Maybe. It'll cost you a few quid, but once in, a 10mm feed would probably 'future-proof' you kitchen for many years to come should you ever change the cooker and a replacement had a higher rating.

Sorry, but thats upto you to decide on whether its a worthwhile exercise or not.

Why not get a price to replace it and go from there?
