Hi guys, I'm currently looking to buy some strip lighting to go under my kitchen cupboard..

I was going to go for the 5630 strip light, I have a 240v lighting circuit supply ready and waiting and so I need a transformer to switch it from 240v AC to 12v DC.... Can anyone recommend one I can get from screwfix or maplin? (Pref screwfix)

The chart at the top says it requires 6A.... That seems excessive.. Then underneath it says 1.2A...

Could anyone shed some light on these for me?

Thanks in advance!

I have personally used this driver to do the exact same thing you're doing, and it works a treat. However, the strips I used, were in the ~5w/m range, not the 15w/m range.

Depending on how much you're planning on using, you might need something bigger / two of them.

Kinda want some brighter ones now!
