Hi all, hopefully this is fairly straight forward question.

In the past I've installed 100mm(4") fans and roof cowls and they are nice and easy to get hold of etc. Now I've installed a 6" fan in my kitchen to meet new regulations, I can't find a 6" roof cowl any where. Unfortunately I've no way to get it out of a wall so roof is the only choice.

The roof is a made of clay pantile.

    Two questions
    1. Can/should I just reduce it to 4" at the roof and vent through a standard 4" cowl?
    2. Where do I get these elusive 6"cowl from?

    Cheers.

edit: some formatting and roof type detail.

You could look at the Ubbink Multivents or similar.

Thats great, just what I'm looking for. Finding those at my usual online supplier and checking their other products lead me to what I need.

I'm going to use a "Ubbink UB41 Universal Ubiflex Service Terminal & Adaptor" as this will do the job.

    cheers. love this forum :)
