150v AC on app chassis

Attended a mates house and found 150v between dish washer and any earth.

Isolated and removed flex, but mate has asked me to prove the fault.

I suspect a crushed cord flex, or wet issue with the dish washer.

Any other likely problems

Have you tried PAT testing the dish washer?

Firstly confirm there is continuity between the CPC in the flex and the metal casing of the dishwasher.
Then check the integrity of the CPC in the circuit feeding it.
