15mm Plastic Pipe Bends?

Hi,

Is its ok to sweep plastic water pipe throught 90 degrees if there is sufficient room or is best practice to fit an elbow?

Yes, although no tighter than 8x the radius iirc.

For tighter bends you can buy formers for about a quid each.

It is actually better this way than elbow fittings.

Providing you don't damage or kink the pipe, sweeping a bend it will be fine.

Use cold forming bends. these will hold the bend so the pipe trying to straighten itself does not exert pressure on adjacent fittings:
