Morning all.

Just choosing a combi boiler and am looking at the Vailliant EcoTec Plus 832. Will a flow rate on the incoming main of 16 litres per min be sufficient to get the most out of this boiler?

Thanks as always

Bill

That kind of flow rate will get you the most out of your combi, but your combi won't get the most out of that flow rate - expect about 12.5l/min of useful hot water from an 832

But you need to know the dynamic flow rate and look at the FAQ to understand what that means.

The minimum for a combi would be about 12 li/min @ 1.0 bar

Its better to take the advice from a good installer than choosing yourself.

As suggested dynamic flow rate is key. As most taps are mixers your flow rate will be shared and an oversized boiler will be a waste. Cold to boiler as first connection after stop tap will probably help some.
