I'm thinking about what to do about the rendering, now I'm going to have the house redecorated.
The rendering,/pebbledashing which covers most of the flank wall and the top half of the front and part of the back, has a lot of stones missing but most of it is hard and not flaking, except for some areas towards the bottom of the flank wall area, which is a bit loose and powdery. Should I paint it with some kind of stabiliser, use some kind of sealant, or have it all hacked off and replaced?
Any suggestions please?
