1959 Semi - Loft Conversion - Beams

Hi All,

Question if I may on the 'supporting' beams in my loft space. I have 1959 semi with decent loft space but for 2 sets of a frame beams connected with bolts. They don't appear to be providing much structural support and i know house of this age can be easier to convert.

Just wondering what my options are hear for removing them? What needs to be considered.
