Hi all, looking to get a new boiler, would like a condensate combi because of rating, currently got two boilers(central heating.instant hot)Just heard on the grape vine that the new combi boillers have to have a 19mm gas supply as my two boliers have standard 15mm supply.
If this is true i`need a lot of overtime lol.
I`m no gas fitter just a mechanical fitter so i wont be touching any gas pipes.

Get 2 or 3 quotes and see if any mention the size of your gas pipe. 22mm is the norm but depends on several factors

I think the grape vine has had rather too much wine, there's no such pipe size as 19mm in the UK, you'll need probably 22mm or possibly even 28mm. All domestic boilers are condensing now

Expect someone hack a piece of pipe off with a pipe cutter and measured the inside prior to de-burring.
