The funniest outcome would be if China agrees to fund the building of some pipelines in Canada so that they can ship all the gas and oil their way. They already take a massive amount of lumber.

I listened to Trump on the TV this morning. He was banging on about the trade imbalance between America an Europe.

He said, we buy all their stuff but they don't buy any of our stuff.

Maybe if the Americans had something worth buying it would be different.

Having said that, i thought sleepy Joe sanctioned Russian gas and oil in order to force the Europeans to buy American gas and oil.

I heard that too. But somebody else told me it was to do with a war. Sometimes these days you just don't who to believe.
 
If he was trying to save lives in the states by reducing drug smuggling he would save more by putting tariffs on McDonald's, Kentucky fried and the like. More people die each year as a consequence of obesity in the states.
In respect of making Canada the 51st state it couldn't possibly be because Canada has more oil reserves than the states. I say this but I don't think the thicko thinks that far ahead.
He's only in power because of the education system there which allows those who think the earth is flat is allowed to vote.

A small example but they used to make awesome headphones - Grado. But now the components are all pretty much made in China and the headphones don't last. I had a pair back in the early-mid noughties which finally gave up after a good 10years of use. Have since bought two other pairs, both lasted less than a year.

As far as i know, the Americans didn't restrict the import of Uranium from Russia due to the war.
