If you mean shock and awe, then yes. If you mean anything to show for it, then no. He did better last time with no tariff threats, and the same as Biden this time who also didn't threaten tariffs.
See the pattern, dribble out some threats then back down at the first opportunity and claim you won. The MAGA's love it.
I meant it has been kept deliberately vague so Trump can claim a victory for his base. He has to make it look like he has achieved at least some of the things he promised to do on Day 1.
well you said it confused every world leader it obviously hasnt confused those 3 and why is it a good thing i would say its saved no end of time going back and forth and lets them all get back to running their countries as they see fit

They are confused because they cannot understand why anyone would threaten such severe consequences and use up so much personal and political capital to receive such a small or non-existent reward.

Slight change of subject, but does anyone know, what the UK is "out of line on". Is it NICE's control of pharmaceutical prices?
I don't know. It could just be that we have a slight trade surplus, by some measures. Or Trump might be thinking of specific areas like chlorinated chicken. Or it might be nothing to do with trade, like with Canada and Mexico. Maybe he wants the Open to be at one of his golf courses. If he made his agenda clear, that would be helpful!
