2 ceiling lights on a single switch. HELP

2 blacks together are tripping, they are only wires connected at present. as i mentioned i belive(d) these are for 2nd light fitting (as this is red, black aswell) and remaining one the supply from RCD, so i dont understand why they are tripping if nothing else is connected

indeed as am i,lol. i am certain the other light has red, black...
It has as I have removed the fitting. i have enclosed some pictures of this and switch

p.s. the light shown already connected isn't faulty as it was tested on a socket

i have stripped back all the wires (just in case) inc the grey (grey inner from switch is now blue but was faded) reattached all 3 earths together and the 2 blacks i have and it still trips (with nothing else connected or touching!
 
i only bought it yesterday and am unfimaliar with it. although i have tried to do a cont test but get a reading off both supply(red, black) and second light (red,black) (which isnt connected) and nothing from switch

upon much of a closer inspection, they were indeed shorting on second light, have removed the fault and both blacks are NOT tripping!!
