Hi , we have a toilet that runs on sometimes after flushing .
I've tried changing the silicone washer but it still does it .
I've looked at changing the flush valve but I can't find a like for like replacement , it's a real obscure one .
The make is TC watermark .
My question is can any other valve fit ?
The one fitted is 70mm dia and it's a 2 inch flush .The bit that screws off is 240mm long and the cistern is approx 300mm deep .
I've seen this in tool station

,would this do the job ?

Thanks for the help

This will fit:

Just make sure the 2" rubber is in the box, you can see it on the picture.

I only fit the fluidmaster valves as they are the best in my opion. I carry about 5 in the van all the time.

You will need to remove the cistern to fit a new type of flush valve.

Thanks mate , I'm an engineer not a plumber so thanks for the info , really helpful .
I'll order it now

While you are taking off the cistern, fit a new fill valve: (this is a bottom entry valve)

You might even need a new donut washer, see what it is like when you remove the cistern.

Thanks ,
I've just realised the cistern lid is a non standard one .the push buttons are square so this may of buggered thinks up now .

Thanks , I got the part from that link .
It's not the same but fits in the basket.
Bloody £50 .
I could of changed it all to the dual flush fluid master but it worked out at £40 with a new fill and washer ,probably not worth tearing it all down for £10 difference.
I would of had to mod the buttons a bit too.
Thanks again
