I looked at those, long ago, and discounted them simply because it involved swapping the standard 13amp plug, to something special, then back if you decided to use the item somewhere else. It seemed an awful lot of effort.
Many years ago I used micro-mark for the supply to the components of the HiFi stack and turn table. So compact they could be hidden easily behind the stack. Still in use.
I use two of these
two feed the audio and hi fi units but with these as a "junction" between my wiring and the manufacturers
(i know they are not really for domestic use, but I have lots of experience of them from my BBC careeer)
