Hi,

Customer has a massive house with ch zones and two potterton suprima's, was complaining of no heating/hot water

The boilers are wired with the pump and switched live's in a drayton rb1 relay

one boiler had power but the pump didnt, nor did the second boiler

from what i understand the relay has 2 poles

can sombody explain to me how the relay works in this setup?

I cant fine anything about this relay on the drayton website

it depends on what valves and thermostats you have, there is a wiring diagram on the back of the cover that explains how it works, unfortunately there isint a standard way to wire them, you will have to trace the wires and also check that the relays are switching when power is applied.

I am surprised that in this weather you can walk away and leave the house without heating.

I would say that you should call someone else or just wire one boiler directly.

Actually i didnt, that is part of the problem, did some rewiring and got live to the pump and other boiler

but now that i have the new relay i cant remember how to wire it in the same way it was before :(

the wiring diagram that came with the relay is really basic
