Have a Glow Worm Micron 60FF boiler with the above pump upstairs. Last few days the pump has been overheating and, at times, making a really loud squeeling noise.
At times although the heating is set to 'on' the radiators haven't been getting warm. It was like this all day yesterday so I reset the boiler and as if by magic the heating came on and subsequently stayed on for a good 3 hours.
This morning turned the heating on and again nothing.
The pump is making a noise but sounds like nothing is going through it.
Does it need a service?
