2 way switching with 2 lamps

i have wired the following

lamp to switch 1
feed to switch 1

3 core and earth from switch 1 to switch 2

lamp to switch 2

using 1 gang 1 way switchs...

but as i was wiring it i lost the plot and cannot remember... its been 10 years since i was a sparky

can anyone help??

1) Use 2-way switches, not 1-way.

2) Look in For Reference for diagrams - don't stop at the first one though, the thread's a bit of a mish-mash, and there's more than one diagram, some clearer than others.....

ddnt have any 1 way so just using 2 way for now

Go and have a lie down - maybe it'll come to you in your sleep whether you're using 1-way or 2-way switches....
