One in five new Tory MPs have worked in lobbying or PR for corporate interests

Mark Fletcher, who replaced Dennis Skinner as MP for Bolsover, was the head of communications for Synergix Health for seven months in 2018. Its biggest brand is ‘Doctor Care Anywhere’

Mark Logan, the new Conservative MP for Bolton North East, is the former head of global communications for the Chinese conglomerate Sanpower, Sanpower which owns multiple healthcare interests, including managing hospitals and ‘subscription health care’

Paul Bristow, the new MP for Peterborough, has his own company PB Consulting has mainly healthcare and health technology related clients.

Rob Butler, the new MP for Aylesbury, has his own corporate communications firm which “provides a bespoke, intelligent and discreet service of communication counsel to corporations, NGOs, family offices and prominent individuals,” according to its website. His clients have included the private healthcare company BUPA.

A Johnson supporter was heard saying "the Conservatives wont sell the NHS, Boris said so, I trust him".

Yaaawn. I’m gonna have to ask Notchy Nytol to come round and spout those facts off to me when I’m trying to get to sleep at night - they seem to do the trick for me. (y)

Like Buffoon and his old Etonian buddies?

Did you know, one of them got voted out, so Buffoon sent him up to the House of Lords.

WOW - I've just done some in depth research and discovered that most of the Labour candidates who lost these seats were previously Labour MPs...........shocking.
Maybe I should start a forum thread on the matter. ;)

Perhaps someone experienced in lobbying can get things like the potholes fixed, or the NHS fixed, or the border controls fixed, or anything fixed by err lobbying and lobbying until they are fixed?

I'd rather have someone experienced in lobbying that someone else experienced in sitting on their arse doing jack and saying nothing.

Yeah dumbo. So lobbyists get to influence laws that help businesses that put up barriers to competition or win contracts when they are not the most effective bidder. ETC

RWR have no floor, you just keep on going lower.
