i always use 22mm unions with a 28-22 reducer in work (thats what the company supply) but seeing as i need a 6m 28mm supply in my own property i was wondering if there is such a fitting? i understand from my apprentice years that it is not needed but just checking. (its my own house so i want it done spot on.)

Went to a gas leak last week.

22mm capillary meter connection with a 28mm elbow straight off it and a 22mm olive adaptor within the fitting. ****ing out gas as the thread on the fitting ran out before the olive compressed. It was a new build so had probs been like that since new.

I had a right rave repairing that as the pipe dissapeared into the wall before i could get it from 22-28mm. A 28mm meter fitting would have been a god send.
