Thanks to the guys for replying on the diversity question!
Next question is I've done my calculations for another job and it is way way over 100amps.Now do I have to get 415volts into this house(seems far too excessive)Or just assume that most of the installation isn't to be used(only two people living in house, would only use minimal electric at a time)Or would the NIC say you've worked Diversity out and it exceeds it by almost double(200 amps)You have to get 415 supply in as single phase can't cope!
Crap I've never come up against this before and as the designer(well I'm only putting in what customer wants)I'm a bit nervous now as it could cost this guy a lot more than he'd hoped!
Please more help,very appreciated!

hi
when i worked at the leccy board this was a common problem when doing storage heater installs...
the mains men came out and stuck another 100A cut out next to the original!( assuming the incomer is of a reasonable size)

this then gives you up to 200A and you record the installation as
"one phase and THREE live conductors"

hope this helps...
