What is the OD of standard 3/4" pipework in millimeters? (Given that the 3/4" stated is ID, and I don't know what is standard gauge copper for 1970's plumbing.

My house is built early/mid 70's, I've just dug up the floor and need to re-route some CH pipework. I could buy some contingency 22mm to 3/4" copper end feed adaptors just in case, but that's a faff. Looking at the pictures of said adaptors it looks like both sizes are pretty similar. I've measured this pipe OD to be 22.02 using a cheapie digital vernier.

Just get some compression fittings and some Imperial olives , sometimes called green rings they are not expensive, and you will be covered in any case

Thanks folks, I think it's 22mm so should be fine. It's all going to get burried under screed (after pipe wrapping) so I'd prefer to stick to soldered joints.
