22mm flexi hose to old imperial 3/4 pipe?

Hi all. I have a dilemma I need to sort out rapidly. I went to replace my bath taps as the ones on there were ridiculously old. The taps were stuck on with red led so I also ordered a 22mm flexi hose so I could cut the pipework and get a box spanner in there (3/4 standard tap end) however, I then noticed the pipe I was going to attach it to is old imperial 3/4" so the olive would be quite slack. Is there any possible way I can connect my 3/4" tap to this bloody 3/4" pipe?

I've looked everywhere, I've even done the PTFE tape trick but the flexihose flew off and flooded the place lol.

Wouldn't I also need a 3/4" to 22mm nut if I just got a 3/4" olive?

Nope just change the olive.
