Hi

I have a 3 gang switch in centre of my lounge. This operates the rear lounge light (1 way), landing light 2 way & the front lounge light (2 way).

However the other 2 switches on the unit do work fine.

The right hand switch doesn’t operate the lounge light. It’s been like this for a while, just haven’t done anything about it as use the switch at the front of the lounge works it ok.

The photo below with the arrows is the rear of the 3 gang which the switch doesn’t work.

I have labelled the terminal in the photo which is which. Any ideas?

a photo of the other switch which operates that particular light may help. Please ensure the circuit is de-energised while doing it

This the wiring on the front lounge switch that opertate the lounge light fine.

If the problem switch -

doesn't turn the light ON when the light is OFF and
doesn't turn the light OFF when the light is ON then -

the switch cannot be moving the contacts inside so replace it.

WITH THE POWER OFF!!!!!...

swap the red and the blue in the first switch..
the wiring needs to be the same both ends ( ie red in com, blue in L2, yellow in L1.. )...
simples..

I agree with COL on this one.

Swap the red and blue on the right hand switch of the three gang plate.

These two:
