Hi, I have this light which seems to be wired incorrectly, if you bang the wall underneath the switch the light flickers on and off so I took the switch off and there are 3 wires (red).

One of them popped out immediately and now no matter what combination I use I can’t get it to work.

The other lights also now do not come on! Plus one combination turns the living room lights on from the bedroom switch !

could this have been a 3 way at one point ?

No, given the wiring colours, that its worked fine for the last 20years, i'd say its a termination issue. When you say any combination, do you mean you have removed all cores and just randomly put them together in different holes?
Have any of the 3 reds a folded over conductor?

Yes I switched all lighting switches off on the main unit and tried all different combos of termination, in both the holes (L2 is blocked off)

I suspect that one was loose and that’s why it was flickering hence one popped out when I opened. None appear to be folded over ?

Connect all 3 reds together (put them all into one of the switch terminals), then the lights in that room should be on permanently, and lights in other rooms work normally.
If that works, then either the switch is broken, or you didn't connect the wires properly when trying all of the combinations previously.

If it doesn't work like that with all 3 reds connected, there are other problems elsewhere.

I eventually dropped on this combo and it worked...
