Hi

Im fitting a new Diverter Valve to my Baxi 105e. I would appreciate any advice on installation, i.e. pelanty of PTFE on threads , approx fititng time, things to worry about etc.
It looks fairly straight forward but I say that on every job :(
Cheers

Use new washers and maybe a smear of grease on threads and that's all.
PTFE is not required. Protect the PCB from water damage. 1.5 hours should cover it as a first timer. I've never replaced a complete valve and always refurb them with available kits, and not had a fail.

Thanks

The new valve comes with new washers fitted but I was a bit unsure about the need for PTFE so thanks for the heads up. I will use silicone grease unless you tell me otherwise. Wish me luck Cheers
