Hi all,

I have 4 concrete blocks next to my front door that I would like to cover up to make it look nicer (see photos). The rest of that wall is rendered. As a novice DIYer do yo think I could render it myself? If not I thought maybe covering it white weatherboards as there are already some on the front wall (not pictured). Any other ideas?

Thanks in advance.

I would say PVC cladding is the easiest option, tight to render in there due to the soil pipe.

If you want to go ultimate DIY, knock the mortar snots off, spray the back of the PVC with plasterboard grip foam and hold in place for 10 mins.

Thanks I’ll give that a go.
