4 year old Neff K4336X4GB/05 Fridge not cooling

Hi,
I have a 4 year old Neff K4336X4GB/05 integrated fridge.
As of yesterday it stopped cooling.
Have removed from kitchen unit to look at rear and found a pattern of behaviour:

# fan on continous
# theromostat set to highest number (coldest setting)
# Having had the fridge off for about 2 hours then switched on:
# Approx every minute there was a buzzing for a few seconds, then after about 4 mins this continues but with every other minute a 'rattling' like the compressor was actually doing something.
# then after about 7 mins the 'rattling' sound happens every minute for about 4 seconds
# the compressor was hand hot after about 15 mins
# there is no evident cooling

Did notice there is a large rounded indentation on the compressor - this maybe as manufactured but dont see a reason for it ?

Hoping this might be the electrical module (capacitor ?)

Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like nobody has any help to offer.

I've probably diagnosed the issue as a failed compressor - which I believe would be too expensive to fix so will have to look at a new fridge and it will not be another Neff .
