I am having a 40mm sink waste pipe that can either go straight out of the wall and then drop outside, around 50cm from the floor, or drop it inside the house before bring it outside very close to the outside floor, then horizontal to the drain....

What would you recommend...

Go through the wall as low as possible, whilst maintaining a fall on the 'horizontal' section. Aesthetically more pleasing and less pipework outside, less chance of anything freezing in the winter.

Keep it high, you want a good fall on it for the horizontal run to the drain.

straight out from the trap.
takes less room up inside , especially if your’e fitting a vanity unit.
